Christmas morning began with our kids actually sleeping late, first time ever. I told them they are officially old now. We started out in mine and David's room as we heard the Christmas story and sang some favorite Christmas carols. Amazing how you miss that when you don't have it happening all around you during the Christmas season.
Then it was downstairs to see what was under the tree
Samantha was thrilled with her new dress that we actually bought here in Thailand. It is the only one we have ever found that fit people that are tall and have broader shoulders than a Thai person
As you can see by his face, Davis was shocked and thrilled at his present from his Nanny and Papa. Davis had outgrown his good quality tennis shoes. That is a problem because it is very difficult to find some here that are his size now.
Davis plays a lot of sports here and runs all the time so he needed good quality shoes but he thought he would have to wait another 1 1/2 years until we go to America to get them in his size. We had guests come in November and Davis' grandparents sent the shoes with them without Davis knowing. He put them on immediately and......
...he took off running out the door and down the street and back to try them out. He was thrilled!
David was also excited about his gift from Davis. David had wanted a new hat and the kids found this at a local store here and Davis knew Daddy had to have it. Wow, David was so surprised. Can you believe it? A Chick-fil-A hat in Thailand!
I was also surprised and excited about a precious gift my daughter made for me. She knows I love this verse!
