Care Packages are wonderful!

November, December and January were also surprising and fun because we received a few care packages from the States. We had a friend who sent us lots of sweet girly things like moisturizer, lotion, facewash and much more. She also sent us many convenience food items which don't exist here. And of course we were all excited about the American salsa!

Care packages are always fun! Another package brought with it many items but here are a couple. David was excited about the Dunkin Donuts coffee and we all love Little Debbie's but they just don't exist in Thailand

Another package was all Christmas gifts. We all had an individual Christmas package like the one Davis is holding and our friend and house helper, Naa, loved the Christmas oven mitts.

It was also fun to get some Christmas tree ornaments from David's mom, who is known as Grandmama!

Other sweet friends sent us so many useful things such as flip flops, socks, backpack, folders, a couple of fun, family movies and so much more! Even some Doritos! WOOOHOOO for Doritos!

This package was fun too. Everything in it was individually wrapped and then it had this list that corresponded to the numbers on the package. Each one gave a clue to the gift inside and we had to guess what it was before opening it. Now that's fun!

David was thrilled to get Spam. When we use to camp in the States we always had to have Spam for one of our meals. Some people think it is questionable whether Spam should be in the States so it is certainly not here in Thailand. We are saving this can until we go camping in Thailand. We hope that will be Spring Break. Camping is definitely different here.

We also got some fun games to play with our Thai friends, which we have already done.

Whether it is care packages, prayers, encouraging words on emails, financial support, taking care of our financial things in the States or a hundred other things, the people in our lives are so very special to us as you encourage us from afar. Please know how very thankful we are for all of you!
