November Happenings

November started off great as we celebrated Davis' 13th birthday. That's right it was a big birthday year for him as he officially became a teenager. He is a fine young man and we are so proud of him.

The special day started with traditional Lynn birthday muffins and of course singing Happy Birthday!

Then he went to school and found that his sweet sister had decorated his locker. She decorated outside...

and the inside!

Then we had dinner to celebrate his birthday at his favorite restaurant. It is Italian which you can't find much of in this part of the world. So it was a very special treat! The owner even surprised him with a very special fruit smoothie drink for free!

 

Then it was back to the house for gifts and cake. He was especially excited because I had arranged to get some old pictures of his life all through the years and made a photo album for him. We had not brought any pictures with us and Davis especially misses that. It was a big surprise!

 

This was also a very exciting gift to Davis. We can't get salsa here and Davis has always loved salsa (we all do, but he does even more). So for his birthday his Daddy made him a bowl of homemade salsa (which takes a really long time) and found him some chips to go with it. Davis was thrilled!

 

 Then on the weekend he celebrated with some of the guys with a sleepover and more cake. It was a great birthday!
