Wonderful Baptism

On November 20, we had the amazing opportunity of witnessing another baptism here in Thailand. It was so precious as this time the new believer who had gotten baptized a couple of months ago now fulfilled Matthew 28:19-20 as she baptized her friend that she had told about Jesus. It was truly watching the Bible unfold before your eyes. And again as a Thai man who accepted Jesus a year ago baptized his co-worker that he had told about Jesus. They are getting it here! They are reading the Word, seeing what it says and then living it out. Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus told his followers to go and make disciples, baptize them and then teach them to obey all He had commanded them and that passes on and on and on through the years to now. And now they are sharing Jesus with others, baptizing those who accept Jesus and then teaching them and helping them grow in their walk with Jesus. I love it! So I wanted to share some pictures with you. It was a wonderful day.

This is one of the girls that was baptized. She is sharing her testimony with everyone first. This made a big impression on many of the young people that have not heard of Jesus that were there at the baptism.

Cool story about this picture. There are 25 young people that showed up at the baptism to experience it and sing. At the house church we sing worship songs and there is a girl that is not a believer that has been coming lately. She loves to sing and gets together with a lot of other young people regularly and sings. She has enjoyed so much the songs they are singing in house church, so she asked the leader of the house church if she could come and bring her singing friends to the baptism to sing the worship songs with them.  Of course they said yes and they came. A whole group of them. So all the young people sang a song at the beginning. Out of these 25 young people, only 5 are believers. The others were singing this song and let me give you a few of the words.
"You alone deserve all glory, You alone deserve all praise. Father we worship and adore You. We love you and worship You this day."
This is only part of the song but as they sang tears came to my eyes and I was praying, "Yes Lord let it be so of each of them that are singing this."  I would ask that you join me in that prayer as well.

This is Ice Cream (new believer) baptizing Mook, her friend that she told about Jesus. Ice Cream was so excited to get to be a part of this and did a wonderful job.

The one with the anchor on her shirt is Ribbon and she was baptized as well. She was baptized by the one who shared Jesus with her.

This was so good. It was great to see a man that wants to follow Jesus the rest of his life. The man in yellow is the one that accepted Jesus a year ago and now he was able to baptize his co-worker whom he told about Jesus. Fulfilling the Great Commission!  Please pray for more men to come to know Jesus and want to truly walk with Him each day!
